In Lima there is only one official GMAT test center. Luckily, it is very easy to register for an exam and spaces do not fill up quickly. Go to www.mba.com to create an account and register for a test. There are available spots nearly every day Monday-Friday from 8:00am until 12:00pm.
Your GMAT score is valid for five years after the day you take it.
Universities use GMAT exams to compare you with other applicants. There is no definition of what a “good” score is, but 650 and above can be considered competitive and 700 and above can be considered excellent.
There are a few authorized test centers for the TOEFL in Miraflores and La Molina. Register at www.ets.org to see test dates and centers. The TOEFL is only offered a few times a month so be sure to register early.
Your TOEFL score is valid for two years after the day you take it.
Currently, the only authorized test center is Britanico. Spots are extremely limited and fill up within an hour of the first registration date so make sure to be prepared. Check www.britanico.edu.pe for more information.
